Momento Temporis: Light from the Deep is a 2D action adventure exploration platformer Metroidvania featuring pixel-art graphics. Find permanent upgrades, overcome environmental obstacles, fight challenging opponents while managing your limited health and stamina, cast magical spells, solve puzzles and discover secrets - everything in one big interconnected world.
History
Marcus of Burning Ice Games has always been interested in Metroidvania games, and in January 2015 he decided to start making one himself. It was later to be called Momento Temporis! In 2016 Marcus came in contact with 501 Industries which came to be the publisher of the game. With their help Momento Temporis got into Steam Early Access after going through Greenlight. The game would be released in multiple parts and the first part was released in October 2016. The second part is under development and will be released as free DLC when it's ready.
